Let x = 3.5.........(4-3.5)^2 < 1..........(1/2)^2 < 1.........Answer is No

Let x = 4.5.........(4-4.5)^2 < 1..........(-1/2)^2 < 1.........Answer isYes

Insufficient

(2) (x-4)^2 < 1

Let x = 3.5.........(4-3.5)^2 < 1..........(1/2)^2 < 1.........Answer is No

Let x = 4.5.........(4-4.5)^2 < 1..........(-1/2)^2 < 1.........Answer is Yes

Combine 1 & 2

Use same examples
