Hi Emily,

Please look into question formatting before posting questions on the forum.

As for the question, IMO the answer should be B.

St 1: Lets take a value like +/- 3.5. Both these cases yield inconsistent answers to the given question. Insufficient.

St 2: k+k^3 can only be negative (<0) when k itself is negative. Given that, it can be concluded that k+k^2+k^3 will also always be nagative. Sufficient.
