1) Sets S = {2, 5, 14, 30, x, y}
Since the median - 15, x - 16, but y could be anything
(Eg1) x - 16, y is 20 Range = 28
(Eg2) x - 16, y is 32 Range = 30
Hence, Insufficient.

2) Average of Set S = 14
Since the question stem provides us with median - 15 and mean - 14
(Eg1) S=(2,15,25) has Range - 23
(Eg2) S=(1,14,16,25) has Range - 24
Hence, Insufficient.

On combining both the statements,
S = {2, 5, 14, 30, x, y}
x+y = 33 because median - 15 either x-16,y-17 or x-17,y-16.
