Which of the following is equivalent to \(\frac{(2x+4)}{[2x^2+8x+8]}\) for all values of x for which both expressions are defined?

A) 1/(2x^2+6)
B) 1/(9x+2)
C) 2/(x+6)
D) 1/(x+4)
E) 1/(x+2)

We can simplify the given equation:

(2x + 4)/(2x^2 + 8x + 8)

2(x + 2)/2(x^2 + 4x + 4)

(x + 2)/(x^2 + 4x + 4)

(x + 2)/[(x + 2)(x + 2)]

1/(x + 2)

Answer: E
