If \(k\) is a positive integer and \(\sqrt{6k}\) is the greatest factor of \(k\), what is the number of positive factors of \(k\)?

A. 1
B. 2
C. 3
D. 4
E. 6

√(6k) is the greatest factor of k

Greatest factor of any number is the number itself e.g. greatest factor of 10 is 10

i.e. √(6k) = k
i.e. 6k = k^2
i.e. k = 6

Factors of 6 are {1, 2, 3, 6} i.e. 4 factors
