Observe that n = 8^11 - 8 = 8(8^10 - 1). Let’s first find the pattern of units digits of powers of 8:

8^1 = 8

8^2 = 4

8^3 = 2

8^4 = 6

8^5 = 8

We see that the pattern of units digits of powers of 8 is 8-4-2-6. Furthermore, the units digit of powers of 8 that are multiples of 4 is 6 and the units digit of powers of 8 that are 2 more than multiples of 4 is 4. That is, the units digit of 8^10 is 4. Replace 8^10 with
