Problem Solving (PS) | If f(x) = x^3 + 1, and g(x) = 2x, for what value of x does

Asked: If f(x) = x^3 + 1, and g(x) = 2x, for what value of x does f(g(x)) = g(f(x))?

f(2x)=g(x^3+1)
(2x)^3 + 1 = 2(x^3 + 1)
8x^3 + 1 = 2x^3 + 2
6x^3 = 1
x^3 = 1/6
\(x =\frac{1}{6^{1/3}}\)
