Option Text: The Group A was composed of 400 people between the ages of 20 and 30 while group was composed of 100 people in the same age group

Is it reasonable for me to assume there might be more people in the group apart from the ones mentioned? Or does "composed of" means only these people are on the group?

Note: Apologies if this is not the section where I should be posting this. Kindly, let me know if this belongs in some other section, I'll move the post there.

Given this sentence as it is, I would assume that 'composed of' means this was the entire composition - that there was no one else in the group.
But, I would need to see the entire question and options etc. to say for sure.

Hi, here's the question

Yes, 'composed of' is equivalent to 'made up of'. There are no other people in either group.
