Not sufficient.

(2) Only
x must be 2.
Because other prime numbers n are all odd, so n+1 is even and cannot be another prime number.
Sufficient.

The answer is thus (B).

sir can you pls explain how x can be 2 or 23 in statement 1

between 11 13 17 19 23
x can be 23 only

Starting from 2,
3, 5, 7
11

There are three prime numbers between 2 and 11.
