Which of the following could be the perimeter of an isosceles triangle if one side has length 3 inches and another side has length 7 inches?

I. 13 inches
II. 17 inches
III. 19 inches

A. I only
B. II only
C. I and II only
D. I and III only
E. I, II and III

Given: The triangle is iscoceles.

Hence the measures of the sides can be

3, 3 and 7 ⇒ This combination is not possible as the measure of the third side should be lesser than the sum of the other two sides.

or

7, 7, 3 ⇒ Valid Combination

Perimeter = 7 + 7 + 3 = 17 inches

Option B
