Blades of Glory skating rink, one of three skating rinks in Greenville, draws revenue from admissions and from food and drink concessions during its day and evening open-skate sessions. Since most skaters do not buy food during the day, the food aspect of the concessions business has not been profitable during the daytime sessions. So, to increase the overall profitability of the rink, the management of the rink has decided to offer only drinks during daytime sessions.
