Solution

Given:
•ABCD and BECD are two parallelograms
•Area of parallelogram ABCD = 5 square units

To find:
    •Area of parallelogram BECD

Approach and Working
Area of ABCD = Base × height =DC × Perpendicular from B to DC = 5
Area of BECD = Base × height =DC × Perpendicular from B to DC
•As the base and height from both the parallelograms is same. The areas of both the parallelograms will also be equal.
    •Area of BECD = 5

Hence, the correct answer is C.
Correct answer: Option C
