Data Sufficiency (DS) | Re: If a and b are non-zero integers, is 1/a+b>0

Inferring from the question, it basically asks whether (a+b)>0 or not.

S1) a>b
It is not sufficient. Eg. -2>-4 No 2>4 Yes

S2) 1/a>0 i.e a>0 nothing can be said about b . Hence , not sufficient

combine : a>0 & a>b Eg a=2 b=-4 (a+b)<0 a=2 b=4 (a+b)> 0.

Hence not sufficient
