Study Plan | Progress check

My diagnostic test (no preparation) score was 440 (Q34 V17) and after completing 1 maths and 1 verbal topic my score on next test moved to 490 (Q32 V26). How is this progress? I am taking a practice test after each math + verbal topic completed.
